Best Saunas in Columbus, OH
Of our 14 verified Columbus venues, 11 run infrared and only 3 offer traditional heat — this is an infrared town. The landscape is dominated by three SweatHouz private-suite studios, Ebb & Float's social wellness clubs, and Life Time athletic clubs that hold the metro's only traditional saunas. Just 3 of 14 venues publish pricing, so the honest version of this guide: the heat is easy to find, the prices mostly aren't.
Contrast & social wellness
Worthington
SweatHouz Worthington
Private contrast therapy suites with infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C shower — the most complete hot-cold setup in the metro. The Worthington location is also the one that publishes pricing: $35 intro session, $60 for a single. Identical studios in Grandview and Pickerington extend the coverage across the metro.
Downtown
Ebb & Float
A social wellness club pairing float therapy with private full-spectrum infrared saunas, cold water immersion, and massage — the pick if you want more than just heat in one visit. A second location in Westerville (Polaris) doubles the coverage north of downtown.
Lewis Center · near Polaris
beem Light Sauna – Polaris
Private infrared light sauna suites with red light therapy near Polaris. No plunge, no float — a focused, quiet infrared experience for people who want the heat without the extras.
Easton
Restore Hyper Wellness – Columbus (Easton)
A wellness studio with infrared sauna as one core therapy among cryotherapy, red light, compression, and IV drips. The all-in-one recovery stop — two more locations in Upper Arlington and Dublin make it the easiest chain to fit into your routine.
Traditional heat & gym options
Worth saying plainly: the only traditional saunas in our Columbus dataset live inside the three Life Time athletic clubs.
Dublin
Life Time – Dublin
A resort-style athletic club with sauna, cold plunge, and eucalyptus steam rooms — the only venue in the metro combining traditional heat with a plunge. Memberships start from $179/month per the official location page, so this is a commitment, not a drop-in.
Easton
Life Time – Easton
An athletic country club with sauna and eucalyptus steam rooms, plus pools, tennis, and spa services. Memberships from $149/month — the cheaper of the two priced Life Time clubs, trading the cold plunge for a lower monthly rate.
Polaris
HOTWORX – Polaris
A 24-hour infrared fitness studio with virtually instructed HIIT, yoga, and Pilates workouts inside infrared sauna suites. Different animal from a sauna session — you train in the heat rather than sit in it — with a second location on 5th Avenue in Grandview.
What to know before you go
- Only 3 of 14 venues publish pricing — confirm rates before booking anywhere except SweatHouz Worthington and the two priced Life Time clubs.
- Traditional-heat seekers have exactly three options: the Life Time clubs in Dublin, Easton, and Upper Arlington. Everything else is infrared.
- HOTWORX is a fitness product (workouts inside infrared saunas), not a sauna session — know which one you're buying.
- Life Time sauna access comes with a gym membership; book a tour before joining if the sauna is your main reason.
