Access. Most Boston plunges sit inside gyms, which means membership or a day pass — not drop-in studio sessions. Moki's social sessions and SweatHouz's suites are the bookable exceptions.
What to bring.Swimwear for shared plunge pools (non-negotiable); flip-flops for locker-room areas. Gyms supply towels to members.
First plunge. Ease in rather than jumping straight to your limit — most people start with 30–60 seconds. Breathe slowly and steadily, and get out if you feel dizzy or numb beyond comfort. If you're pregnant, have a heart condition, or react badly to cold, check with a clinician first.
Pricing. Published plunge pricing is thin in Boston — Moki's $59 social session and SweatHouz's $50 intro / $80 single are the only numbers in our data. Expect to ask everywhere else.
